I am an on and off smoker (I’m trying to be permanently ‘off’). I hate when people litter like this. It’s a completely thoughtless act, too. Generally, I push the cherry of the end of the cigarette, make sure it’s extinguished, then, if there’s no trash can about, put the butt in a little plastic bag in my purse for later disposal. I know it isn’t as easy as “flick!” (and I admit I have, at times, thoughtlessly flicked a butt or two, but then I come to myself and go pick it up), but litter is something I think we can all agree is distasteful.
Sorry for the rant. I just hate that sort of thing.

Ranting is welcome and I too used to smoke but tried never to do this but, yeah, sometimes I was lazy! Thank you so much 😃
