WELCOME TO THE (FUN?)FAIR

Published on August 14, 2014September 9, 2014 by chrisrenneyLeave a comment

DSC_0900On our trip to the coast last weekend we sought out the little funfair and, whilst we understood the need to close it because of the Hurricane Bertha issue, we were sad to find some of the rides have been left to go derelict.

I have printed in colour because somehow it looks even more devastating.

FRACTURED IMAGE VI

A church in Huntingdon, the home of Oliver Cromwell who executed a King, established a republic and caused murder and mayhem in Ireland (where to this day he is hated by one section of the Community and probably rightly so).

REJUVENATION I

The trees along the river bank are very old and many have been subject to a little trim back. Healthy growth coming on – so strong.

THE PROPERTY OF HMTHE QUEEN

This chap was fascinated by the sound of the camera click and so hung around a while. I like the blackness of the water against those purty white feathers.
