I spoke with Daniella, who has just finished her first year at university and who is studying something difficult like politics and law or economics (I apologise Daniella as I know that is not quite right) and she kindly agreed, after checking my reasons for wanting to photograph her, to let me take this picture of her. ย I wish her well with her studies.
I love her “not quite sure about this” smile. She seems like such a lovely person. I don’t think I would have the courage to approach and talk to random people like you do, Chris.
Yeah you would. I think Daniella was concerned that my reason for photographing her was because she uses a wheelchair. I would be lying if I said I was unaware of it, of course, but it was she who interested me and I was right because I feel this shows Daniella as she is – independent, interesting and with a life ahead of her.
Then I wish her all the best. It sounds like she has all the qualities to make it far in life, whatever that personally means for her. ๐
Absolutely Tony.
Daniella looks like someone I would be able to talk to. Intelligent, discerning, insightful. Nice photo Chris!
She was all of those and just a little shy – like you! xx
Shoot- now I want to cry! Hugs to you dear Chris.
Hugs to you too x
Pamo shy? Wow. You’ve never struck me as that, Pam! ๐
No I am just going along with her – she likes police stations so we need to be careful sssshhhhhhh
Hahahahahahaha! I’m crying tears of laughter now!
I am fairly shy Tony. I hide it well through lots of practice. It’s one of those struggles in life, ya know? ๐
So these random folk are kinda like mini celebs now. Not everybody’s asked to get photographed. I mean, I’ve never been asked by folk other than my family.
One day Totsymae – one day…
