I first noticed Shirley from the other side of the road. She was pulling on a cigarette and that, together with her faux fur hat, took me back to Dora Bryant, an English actress and comedienne of some few years ago. Shirley was quite at ease with me taking her photo and was just a delight. Glad you can see it in her too.
