NEOLITHIC CAR

ON THE PERIPHERY

UTILITARIAN BUS SHELTER AT PIDLEY, THE FENS

JUST CHILLIN’

REFUGEE

I noticed this lady sitting in the sun and asked if I might take her photo. LIke all of us, she felt she is not beautiful enough but I thought she had a wonderful face. Her accent was not truly English and I asked her where she was born. ‘Eastern Prussia’, she told me. Her family fled the country during the Second World War and made their way to the UK. I hope they have been happy here.
