At the garage where I took some photos this well thumbed and well appreciated calendar was in pride of place in the ‘kitchen’ area.



I was wandering around a local cemetery, looking for interesting things to photograph, when I spotted this teddy bear on a grave. If you look closely you can see that nature is drawing it back into the earth by planting and nurturing grass seeds on its limbs and torso.




This is inspired by the wonderful writer J.H.WHITE who has a blog site on WordPress – if you love insightful and intelligent writing then please visit her site- if you know her work already there is nothing more for me to say. J.H.WHITE refers to small green prayer flags in her work ‘Emerging’. The imagery stayed with me. This photo does not do her poem justice but I post it out of respect.
