When I first took this photo all I could see was rotting wood but now I see a blindfolded figure, long gone from this world, life taken by cruelty and ignorance.

IMG_1278I saw this little bird today when out walking a friend’s dog.  I did not have my camera with me so had to dash home to get it in case someone moved it.  I did move it into the bushes but could hear young birds in the trees calling – guess this one came from there.
