This beautiful building used to be, I think, Sunblest bread factory. It is now empty and beginning to fall into disrepair. I wish I could have got closer to it but it is surrounded by horrible spikey railings and my climbing days are over. I don’t think it can be demolished but if it is not saved they may as well do so. On a brownfield site – could be converted but guess that would be too much money – cheaper to raise to the ground and rebuild. Excuse me for sounding off but grrrrrrrrrr

I saw this as I was on a wander around and it made me laugh. I love clever graffiti and thought it worth recording. I just wish the author knew!

Boys as wallflowers for a change.

This may sound ridiculous to some but when I came across this old Trade Union building in town and saw that it now functions as a nightclub and bar I felt real anger.

This delightful lady came toward me on a rather grey day and she looked so vibrant and colourful I asked if I could photograph her. She was happy for me to do so and I am so glad I did. Sometimes we need reminding that life can be fun in all sorts of ways.
