Have to check my notes re creator of this wonderful work but I do remember it is dedicated to Crick and Watson, the two scientists recognised as discovering DNA. I think this is one of the most beautiful works I have seen – powerful but graceful.

Some while ago I met this lady in a nearby town who was happy for me to photograph her and I posted the image on this blog as the ‘Human Carnation’. Lo and behold, in the car yesterday and I spotted her again in an even more colourful outfit. Husband was driving and he drew off just as I clicked so hence blur but I think it actually works pretty well. Oh, and he came up with the title this time.
Juxtaposition – which is more interesting?

Ms Valentine, whom I spotted outside a store in town looking decidedly interesting, was more than pleased to show off the tattoos of her favourite bird, the crow. I asked Amy if I could photograph one (later all) of them and she showed me this one on her index finger. I was very close with a wide lens and still managed to get this unguarded shot. Thank you AV – hope you like them.
