A statue to honour those who died in the steel industry in Corby, Northamptonshire, England, over the years. Corby has suffered financial hardship because of the loss of most of the industry and, whilst regeneration is occurring, it is mainly the leisure industry which is creating jobs now. I feel this statue also honours the dying industry itself.
