HEIDI AND HER UNICORN
Image by Christine Renney after Heidi!
My great-niece presents us with an interesting self-portrait which I believe depicts her passion for the crayon or felt tip together with a colourful Unicorn which she hopes to see one day, as do we all.
Forgive my self-indulgence and pride.
TRUMP’S HAIR IS LEAVING EARTH
I fail to see how a man as wealthy and no doubt protected as Trump must be can be so full of fear. Oh wait, he isn’t. He just wants everyone else to be. I hope he swallows his hair in his sleep and chokes on it.
OUTSIDE IN

The reflection of the lamp post is a bit unfortunate some may say but hey, what the heck, it is there because it is there.

LA GIACONDA

I have only just worked on this image, which I took last year in Wolverhampton, and all at once I could see the Mona Lisa in this young lady. What do you think?
NET NO GLASS
If you have seen my photos of the disused church in Guyhirn, you won’t be surprised at this image of a cottage in the same village. Lovely nets but no glass. The whole cottage is deteriorating which is really sad in a time when people need homes. Still, the owners appear to take some pride in their property…….

BRASSED OFF

NOW NO-ONE VISITS

NO-ONE VISITS NOW
My hollow eyes still bleed
For those who will not come
Kneel and wonder now
Upon another’s door,
Behind my cold facade
An aching heart still loves
Arrhythmic sleepless pulse
Beats to an ancient tune.
Within my hallowed shell
Your memories I hold
Like children to the breast
And secrets never told
To me your eyes are blind
My tears are mine alone
And still I wait in vain
For those who will not come.
